At the helm of TGS is Mrs. La Juana (LJ) Chambers Lawson, MPA, PMP, LSSYB. As seen in the O, The Oprah Magazine, Entrepreneur and Voyage Dallas, LJ is the Owner and Principal Consultant of Tacit Growth Strategies (TGS), LLC , a project management firm that leads a government contract in research and project management auditing. TGS manages a portfolio of multi-million dollar projects. LJ serves as President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM) and acts as the Immediate Past President of the Alamo Project Management Institute (Alamo PMI). She also teaches Project Management at UIW. LJ is author of “Earned Value Pocket Book and Guide”, a flagship publication that simplifies earned value management and makes it relatable to personal and professional introspection. LJ is the recipient of SABOC’s 2019 Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week Award in recognition of government contracting excellence. She was also nominated for the San Antonio Visitors Alliance’s Rising Star Award in October 2019 for her impressive services and works as President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM).
