Tacit Growth Strategies is a management consulting firm and project management office (PMO) that specializes in project management training, impact investment strategy, and fund development. Tacit Growth Strategies is looking to hire an intern within our Business Development Division. The intern will report directly to our Executive Director and grow with our company. The right candidate will be eager to take on new responsibilities and contribute to the development of our team and company. We intend for the Business Development Internship to evolve into a permanent role within the organization.

Internship Responsibilities

  • Identify and share (in-person and/or virtual) networking and professional events to attend on behalf of Tacit Growth Strategies
    • Keep detailed records
    • Utilize a spreadsheet to identify and manage all contacts, their contact information, remarks or inquiries, and any properties of interest they have mentioned
  • Create daily time blocks for each task needing to be completed, including additional and as-needed tasks as they arise
  • Clients may reside in any city within the state of Texas
  • Define your target audience, businesses, developers, and non-profit clients with employees who are looking for office space
  • Leverage your network by reaching out to friends, family, and acquaintances to see if they know anyone interested
  • Attend local events in person or virtual to collaborate with business associations on behalf of Tacit Growth Strategies
  • Send an email asking for materials/updates/information for real estate events

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Project Management lexicon preferred, but not required 
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Forms) 
  • Good technical understanding of the life cycle of grant projects 
  • Efficient and accurate work output 
  • Ability to interact appropriately in a hierarchical framework with a variety of stakeholders 
  • Good communication and writing skills 
  • Organized, adaptable, delivery-focused, with attention to detail 
  • Proactive, proposing or taking own initiatives to avert or prevent negative risks/issues 
  • Must be a self-starter, able to take initiative, work independently, and be a team player 
  • Must be able to multi-task and maintain deadline punctuality during pressurized situations
